After moving to a bigger studio near Totnes (Coombe Park Studios), I have had the chance to paint bigger pieces and with much more freedom. It has become a space of pure creativity as I am not allowing any other distractions than brushes, paint and inspirational music. No computers and no phones in sight. And my only reference are the small natural elements I have collected – some stones and pebbles to inspire me to reproduce the mineral colours of the South Hams.

Here are the first pieces of my newer collection: Mineral Landscapes – A collection of abstracts that reproduce the colours and textures of those mineral elements I have encontered. And to reproduce the colours to the best of my abilities, I have used ground raw pigments with several experimental Techniques.
